Dr. Antonios Nestoras

Founder and Director

Antonios Nestoras is a leading voice at the intersection of security, technology, and sustainability, with over 15 years of experience spanning academia, European think tanks, and public administration. A seasoned analyst and policy innovator, he regularly contributes to debates on the future of Europe, with work featured in top-tier EU media outlets including EuroNews, Euractiv, and EUObserver.

He has authored or edited more than 40 publications — from policy reports to peer-reviewed articles and books — and is the Founder and Chief Editor of the Future Europe Journal. Antonios holds a double PhD in Social and Political Science from VUB and the University of Antwerp and is a recipient of the prestigious Huygens Scholarship for International Talent, awarded for his graduate studies at Leiden University. His recent books include Belonging to the West: Geopolitical Myths and Identity in Modern Greece, published by Brill, and Renewing Europe: A How-To Guide for EU Policymakers, published by the European Liberal Forum.
